LLL art shirt banned in high schools across the USA for naughty bits

Banned LLL Art Shirt

I'm hearing from fans in high schools across America that they are having problems when wearing the Art Shirt to school.

Their fellow students think it's awesome, but the teachers are shocked.

It's all about the "naughty bits", the "nudity" in the artwork. Specifically, the classical images of women without shirts or bras.

One lad (who shall remain nameless) was told by a teacher that he would either have to go home, or wear duct tape over the naughty bits. He stood his ground, went home, and wrote an angry letter to the school's principal. The principal (who never even saw the shirt) replied that the shirt is henceforth banned in the school, and more severe penalties are in store should he dare wear it to school again. Expulsion? Arrest? Castration?

These are not even the same people who thought we practiced satanic dark arts by having a Hamsa in our artwork. Rather, these are the puritanical police, a whole different lot of extremists. Or perhaps they are not so extreme, since this is happening more and more. We get at least a message a week from fans saying either that they had trouble with teachers in school, or knew that they couldn't wear it to school because of the "nudity".

Whatever the reasoning, it's quite insane.

But like many things insane, it's also quite amusing.

So, my suggestion: If you are a Question Authority type, get a shirt in our shop and wear it to school. You'll be on the local news, at least, defending art and free speech. If you are the Follow Orders type, you may want to avoid the shirt altogether, or else realize you can wear it to clubs, but not to school or church. If you're just a Free Spirit, get it, because you don't care what anybody thinks anyway!

At least they haven't banned the music. I just hope they don't play it backwards.

Yours,
