Lonely London Lad: What's New: March 27
For such a loquacious lad, I've been unusually laconic lately!
Here's what I've been up to in the LLL world, in what is probably my most straight-forward blog ever:
- We're in the midst of a new song (destined for our third album), entitled "Ides of March'. We have about 6 songs completed so far toward the album. It should sit proudly on your shelf beside the other two! :-)
- This weekend I created a music video for the song "Foaming At The Mouth" from the second album. I spent the weekend shooting and editing it. I almost threw in the towel (literally) several times, but I'm happy now that I stuck to it. It was good exercise (you'll see what I mean). You can also see the LLL art shirt, in a cameo role.
- Speaking of videos, YouTube has a new feature that lets you "rent" a video now, so I have made several rare LLL videos ("SPQR", "My Sorrow", "Paper Lilies", "Toi", and more) available through their rental program. For those who think it greedy that I'm renting videos, greed isn't my motivation, but rather survival: I need to make money from all this, as it's my full-time gig.
- I've been waiting patiently for the latest shirts in the Art Shirt line to arrive, these in ladies' sizes Small (size 0-2) and X-Small (size 0). When they do (any day now), we will have Art Shirts in stock from size XS to size XXXL.
- We have two new models hard at work on new Art Shirt photos in London. They should be uploaded in a week or two. Alessandro is also planning another shoot soon with the black art shirt; and when the XS shirts arrive, Renata is waiting patiently for another sure-to-be-fab photo shoot with it.
- We've now taken all the people that we can accomodate for the Backstage Pass feature. Maybe we'll open some more spots in the future... stay tuned!
- Still pondering what tomorrow's Song of the Week should be. Any requests?
- On a personal note, my son is now six months old, and he cannot crawl yet, but he can walk and even run. He ran two laps around the kitchen yesterday. Strange stuff.
A special thanks to all you LLL fans who have purchased music and/or shirts in our shop recently. We know that times are tough, and that makes it that much more of an honor to have you purchase our creations.
Cheers!
Robert
