Lonely London Lad: What's New: May 5, 2010

- The Lad's Facebook presence is growing more active every day. Join us there to get exclusive access to new music, LLL news, and pleasantries.

- We just finished a new song today, called "Baroness Von Porcupine"! It is as oddly beautiful as its name, believe me! I'm toying with the idea of putting an extended excerpt on Facebook.

- We're almost finished with another new song, called "The Ides Of March". I plan to make a music video for the song as soon as we get the finishing touches done. The video will feature some beautiful pairs of eyes found through a special MySpace open casting call. It should make for some enjoyable listening and watching.

- To satisfy some curiosity out there, I'm thinking of doing a video interview, answering questions sent to me by LLL fans. If you think it's a good idea, send me some questions you'd like me to answer. If no questions are sent, I'll simply stare blankly at the video camera for 10 minutes or so.

- A nice review of our "Foaming At The Mouth" CD came out in Shindig! Magazine's May/June 2010 issue. In it, I am compared to Ray Davies, which I consider a good thing. I am also termed "mad as a box of frogs", which I also consider a good thing. Oh, and the reviewer quite liked the music, too -- so overall a brilliant review.

- A lovable German fan "embraced" Dresden Doll's Amanda Palmer whilst wearing an LLL art shirt, and snapped a picture of it.

- The new Art Shirt should arrive here at Lad Central in about a week. There was an unforeseen delay at the printers. The design itself will be 14" x 14", so nicely big and bold. If you can't wait, and simply must pre-order, then contact me and I'll put you at the front of the massive line.

- Two new t-shirts are on the design table with two of the most capable t-shirt designers in the world. I'll post previews as they become available.

- Thanks to many of you material supporters out there (you know who you are) the Lad is still alive and kicking. For all of you who profess love for the music, but haven't got off your duff yet to click it into your hands, get off your duffs and get the music in my Shop. You'll thank yourself for years to come for your decisiveness. As a side note, which I'm sure will offend many, I've come to respect decisive people even more lately, who like raptors see what they like, swoop down silently and without fanfare go in for the kill, whilst the pigeons squawk above, noisily complaining why they can't do this or that. All hail the decisive!

Cheers!

Robert
